    Dexterity Pre-College is a national initiative to give young high school students the experience of a rigorous, multi-disciplinary education at a world-class university and exposure to future academic majors and professional careers while still in high school.

    Lectures and Breakout Sessions 

     

    During the monthlong program, lectures and breakout sessions are live and participant-driven and offer the full classroom experience of a world-class university.

    Readings and Course Material

     

    For Dexterity Pre-College scholars, the world is the classroom. The course material ranges from academic readings and newspaper articles to podcasts, movies and documentaries.

    Research Paper and Capstone

     

    Dexterity Pre-College scholars write a research paper (some for the first time!) and prepare a capstone as part of the program.

    Simulation and Case Studies

     

    As part of coursework, Dexterity Pre-College scholars work on case studies and engage in immersive simulations to develop a holistic understanding of real-world scenarios.

    Certificate and Letters

     

    Pre-College scholars become part of a lifelong community, receive a certificate showcasing their readiness for higher education and can seek letters of recommendation for prestigious undergraduate programs worldwide.

  • Dexterity Pre-College Program in International Affairs and Business will enable young scholars to gain an understanding of the global order, world events, international relations, international organizations (e.g., the United Nations), and global diplomacy (treaties, summits, agreements). Scholars will also learn to evaluate, build and operate global businesses through opportunity assessment, market research, writing business plans, and building business pitches.

    Pre-College scholars will gain an academic understanding of international affairs and business, building strong research, communication and negotiation skills, while also being trained to think like diplomats, business leaders, managers, innovators and entrepreneurs. The program introduces participants to future academic majors and professional careers in the fields of international affairs and international business.

    Mode: Online modules w/ live sessions on Saturdays

  • Information for students from Low and Middle-Income families

    Dexterity Global's financial aid policy says, "Pay only if you can". Dexterity's Office of Financial Aid ensures that Dexterity Pre-College is accessible to students from all income groups and backgrounds. These cases may include but are not limited to low and middle-income families facing significant financial hardships, students who have lost a parent or an earning member of the family, families with Below Poverty Line (BPL) card, students attending lower income schools or those who come from disadvantaged and underserved communities.

    Note: Applicants must indicate on their application that they would like to be considered for need-based financial aid.
